Registration Fee

A registration fee is charged for each sport in which a person officiates. This fee registers each official with the GHSA, and covers the costs of National Federation Rule Books and Officiating Manuals, GHSA training materials, the GHSA evaluation program, and a package of insurance coverage. The registration fee is set yearly by the Georgia High School Association and is to be collected by the local association and then sent to the GHSA office as a lump sum. The GHSA will not accept checks from individual officials. Fees may be raised over time as costs of insurance and publications increase. NOTE: Registration Fees are non-refundable once processed by the GHSA and non-transferable from one association to another.
