The Georgia High School Association wishes to salute Westminster School for the great job done in hosting the State Gymnastics Meet for the past 20+ years. As you may have noticed on the GHSA web site, the meet will be moving to Ola High School in McDonough next April and GHSA Executive Director Gary Phillips did not want to pass the torch without recognizing what a “fantastic job Westminster has done over the years.”
The 2017 State Gymnastics meet will be held at Ola H.S., on Friday, April 21 following a Preliminary Meet at Dunwoody High School in DeKalb County on Saturday, April 15. The competition schedule for the state meet, as well as directions to Ola High School, can be found on the Gymnastics page of the GHSA web site (www.ghsa.net)
“Westminster has been honored to hold the meet at our facility and be part of the meet for so many years,” said Sandi White, who was State Meet Director for 21 years. “I know other schools would like to be involved in hosting the State meet as well. Westminster is glad to be part of GHSA Gymnastics and we look forward to the 2017 season.”
