The Vincent J. Dooley Awards are presented to one male and one female athlete in every high school in Georgia for their exemplary character and leadership both on and off the field, for the positive influence they exercise in their lives, and for the difference they make in the lives of others.
The Athletic Director and coach(es) determine the one male and one female recipient of the Dooley Awards for their high school. Those athletes will receive a plaque as recognition of this achievement. The AD/coach simply submits the Form below without uploading file attachments by the February 28, 2016 deadline (one Nomination Form per athlete).
Scholarships
Additionally, the one male and one female recipient of the Dooley Awards in every high school may compete for a four-year $1,000 per year college scholarship when the Nomination Form below has been uploaded by the February 28, 2016 deadline (one Nomination Form per athlete).
