On September 15, the GHSA Executive Committee passed unanimously a proposal to increase the number of entries in the consolation finals at the State Swim Meet from 8 to 10. The championship finals will also thus be increased from 8 to 10, and 20 places will be scored rather than 16. The changes are effective immediately for this season’s GHSA Swimming & Diving State Championships.
