As the importance of pre-screening athletes continues to sweep the nation, more and more state high school athletic associations are adopting the use of digital tools to better manage student-athlete health information. This past April, the Executive Committee of the GHSA approved the use of an electronic filing program developed by Privit Profile (formerly PrivIT e-PPE) to enhance the required pre-participation evaluation (PPE) process.
When members of the GHSA staff viewed Privit Profile, they were impressed with this program, and determined that this type of filing operates within the scope of the state law and the GHSA by-law that cover pre-participation evaluations.
