Citing the beautiful facilities at both locations, and hoping to lessen conflicts with end-of-course testing and graduation, the GHSA has announced that the 2017 State Soccer Championship games will be split between Mercer University in Macon and McEachern High School in Powder Springs.
The championships will be held on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13.
Game times and which classifications will play at which site are decisions that will be made later as the GHSA hopes to reduce travel time for the participating teams.
