Lovett and Greater Atlanta Christian both self-reported a joint baseball pitching violation during a Monday evening semifinal playoff game.
Pitchers from both schools exceeded the 10-inning pitching limit during the 11-inning contest (By-Law 1.44 (reference to participation limits).
As a result, the two pitchers in question will not be allowed to pitch again until Friday, May 20 at the earliest, and at that time cannot pitch more than three (3) innings. Additionally, each school will be fined and be placed on "severe warning" by the GHSA.
