The GHSA is pleased to announce that Al Dattolo has earned the 2014 NFHS Distinguished Officials Award for Section Three. Section Three includes Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Mr. Dattolo has officiated GHSA basketball and softball for more than 30 years, and serves as the GHSA Officials Liaison for softball. Ernie Yarbrough, GHSA Coordinator of Officiating stated, "this is a tremendous honor for Al and one that is well deserved."
