The schedule for the State Tennis Finals on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Rome Tennis Center at Berry College is below:
8:00-8:30 a.m. – All Girls teams in Classes A through 7A report to tournament desk inside pro shop. (Please do NOT arrive before 8:00 a.m.)
8:30-9:30 a.m. – All Girls teams can warm up on their assigned courts.
9:30 a.m. – All Girls matches will begin play. (Trophies and medals will be presented at the tournament desk as the matches conclude)
Noon-12:30 p.m. – All Boys teams in Classes A through 7A report to tournament desk inside pro shop.
12:30-1:30 p.m. – All Boys teams can warm up on their assigned courts.
1:30 p.m. – All Boys matches will begin play. (Trophies and medals will be presented at the tournament desk as the matches conclude)
A total of 40 courts will be used for competition, thus allowing all eight girls matches to be put on at the same time in a morning session with all eight boys finals going on simultaneously in an afternoon session.
The RTCBC also will offer advantages to spectators, as there is permanent outdoor seating for 800 spectators along with 220 parking spaces directly on site and 250 more on the hill directly adjacent to the tennis center.
All-day admission to the facility will be just $5 and parking will be free.
