Wrestling will be a Region sport in classifications 4A, 5A, 6A and 7A. As previously requested, if you have not done so, please email me the Dual and Traditional (required to host on TrackWrestling) Region Tournament host school(s).
Due to the number of school wrestling in Classifications 1A, 2A and 3A, wrestling will be an Area sport in those classes (the new Areas are now listed on the GHSA web site). All coaches from each Area should meet as soon as possible to select an Area Coordinator, Area Dual Tournament Host, and an Area Traditional Tournament Host (required to host on TrackWrestling). The Area Coordinator should report the decisions to Don Corr at don.corr@ghsa.net ASAP.

It is our hope that additional considerations and rule modifications are not necessary. Please follow the new guidelines in an effort to have a full wrestling season that will end with State Champions being crowned.
