Rising 9th through 11th graders interested in the practice of law are invited to apply for the 2023 Junior Legal Internship/Scholarship Program. The program will take place from July 18-21, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the law firm of Childers & McCain, LLC in Macon, Georgia.
The applicants selected will experience what it is like to work at a law firm alongside our attorneys. They will learn the importance of confidentiality as they interact with clients and develop skills for working in a professional environment. Students will meet judges and other legal professionals and will gain hands-on experience through documenting evidence at the scene of an accident and researching the facts of a client’s case. Students selected will receive a $200 scholarship and will leave with a college-ready resume listing their legal experiences from the week.
