The GHSA recently honored long-time President Dr. Gary Holmes and Vice President Walter Wade (pictured at right - Holmes on left in photo) at a reception on Sunday, Sept. 14 held in conjunction with the fall meeting of the State Executive Committee. Holmes served as President of the GHSA since the 1978-79 school year, and Wade served as Vice President since the 1994-95 school year. Both were given retirement gifts from the GHSA office and members of the Executive Committee in honor of their long and dedicated service to the organization.
