The 2018 GHSA Tommy Guillebeau State Football Championships, presented by Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance, will be played December 11-12 (Tues. & Wed.) at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Tickets are available at participating schools and at the MBS box office. The event was moved to available dates for Mercedes-Benz Stadium after the Atlanta United soccer team won the Eastern Conference Finals earning the right to host the MLS Cup on December 8th at the MSB. Congratulations to Atlanta United.
All championship football games will be televised live by Georgia Public Broadcasting throughout the state of Georgia and into parts of Florida, Alabama and Tennessee. Broadcasts will also be streamed live to any device and available on demand at GPB.org/sports and NFHSNetwork.com/GHSA. This year’s on-air talent for GPB’s coverage includes Matt Stewart, Brian Jordan, Jon Nelson, Chelsea Tofoya, Paul Crane, Wayne Gandy, Bob Rathburn, Sam Crenshaw and Hana Chalker. DVD orders of the championship games will be available at NFHSNetwork.com/GHSA. Radio coverage of the football finals be distributed on Georgia News Network, 1340 AM and 103.7 FM.

Opened in August 2017, Mercedes-Benz Stadium is home to the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons and Major League Soccer’s Atlanta United.
