Congratulations to Hart County, which went undefeated through the winners bracket before defeating Cherokee 13-1 to capture the 2021 GHSA Slow Pitch Softball State Championship, presented by Mizuno. The fourth annual eight-team tournament was held April 21-22 at Twin Creeks Park in Woodstock. Competing in the tournament were: West Laurens, Cherokee, Franklin County, Kennesaw Mountain, North Oconee, Jefferson, Haralson County and eventual champ Hart County.
Appreciation goes to GHSA staff, umpires, Twin Creeks Park, TeamIP, sponsors and all players, coaches and fans that contributed to the event’s success.
