The 2021 GHSA Traditional Wrestling State Championships were held February 9-13 at the Macon Centerplex over five days due to Covid-19 protocols. Congratulations to the 108 individual state champions in boys & girls divisions and to all the competitors. The team winners were: Camden County (7A), Buford (6A), Woodland-Bartow (5A), Jefferson (4A), Rockmart (3A), Fannin County (2A), and Mt Pisgah Christian (1A). View past state champions.
Much appreciation goes to the Atlanta Takedown Association, Team Georgia, Macon Centreplex, Sports Medicine South/ Northside Hostpital, US Army, Resilite mats, Takedown Sportswear, Sterilaser, NFHS Network, TrackWrestling, Gatorade, Tanita scales, Don Corr and the GHSA staff, officials, table workers, parents and fans that supported the long hours of this event amidst the challenges of the pandemic.
