LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Katherine Snavely of Brookstone (Columbus, Ga.) School was named MaxPreps/NFCA National High School Player of the Week honor for her outstanding play during the week of Aug. 14-20.
Snavely was perfect at the plate, drove in 10 runs and slugged an astronomical 2.500 as she keyed Brookstone to victories over Manchester and Hawkinsville High Schools last week. Against Hawkinsville, the junior registered her third double of the week, drove in four runs and scored twice.
