The GHSA office has been informed of a sporting conflict with the 2013 Boys State Track Meet. A large drag race event will be held near Commerce over the same weekend as the State Meet in Jefferson. Some of the Commerce-area hotels are booking rooms at this time. Housing is certain to be a problem if you wait to reserve your rooms. Besides the Commerce-area hotels, there are hotels available in Athens, Winder, Gainesville, Lavonia, Braselton and Buford (Mall of Georgia).
