Final Class A softball Power Ratings

Explanation of Appeals

1. Mt. Vernon appealed based on a miscalculation of their posted rating of 11.18.  After recalculating, their rating was adjusted to 11.28.

2. Strong Rock appealed based on a missing game result.  After recalculating, the published 9.58 rating has been adjusted to 9.64.

3. Christian Heritage appealed based on a game with Dalton during a tournament that ended after four complete innings with Dalton winning 10-7.  They were instructed that if they wanted to attempt to resume the game, it would need to be done prior to the 10/14/14 power rankings. If not done by that time, the 10-7 outcome would remain.  They did not reschedule that game so the result will stand.  With that, their final score was adjusted from 10.16 to 10.24.

4. Telfair County appealed its power rating of 12.14 as being too high and said it should be 12.12. After recalcullating, the correct score is 12.12.

5. Tattnall Square appealed its score of 13.36, and Brookstone's score of 13.38. After recalculating both scores, the results were Tattnall 13.45 and Brookstone 13.50.

6. Mt. Zion appealed its score of 12.77.  After recalculating, the score was adjusted to 12.84.

7. ECI appealed its score of 10.73 and Hawkinsville's of 10.79.  After recalculating both scores, the revised numbers are ECI 10.79 and Hawkinsville 10.75.

8. Trion appealed its score of 12.39 based on missing opponent results.  After recalculating, the revised score was 12.44.
